Hello I have successfully used Clone DVD [Any DVD] with my Pioneer 107D for over a year now - never had any problems until a few days ago. I've never tried updating the firmware on the Pioneer. The Pioneer has always performed well, burned on to anything [though more coasters with cheap media]. I do believe it's a defective media problem, TDK uses several manufacturers.
